Domains
A Domain, or domainname is like a Companys address on the Internet and is used for homepages, email and other internet services.
If you or your company does not have a internet address, a user or potential customer may not find you and will probably choose another company that are visible on the Internet.
Who can register what domainname?
The criteria for registering a domain is in principle just that it is free. For the Norwegian domain (.no) it is required you have a registered firm or organization in the Bronnoysund registers. Registration of Norwegian domains (. no) managed by NORID, which assigns domain names. Domain names under a top level as. com,. net,. org,. info and the like can be registered by anyone.
You can register a domain name with one that sells it, or I can fix it for you.
The choice of additional services is done often during the ordering process, so if I will register your domain, then we will a conversation to go through all the details around this.
When the domain registration is complete no one else can use it, and you can use e-mail ending in @ your domain name and publish a website.
Price 150,- NOK per year.
Applies to the following domains:
- .com
- .net
- .biz
- .info
- .name
- .org
For the following domains it will be an additional cost:
- .no (+ 20,- NOK)
- .eu (+ 125,- NOK)
- .priv.no (+ 20,- NOK)
If you want to save a a few bucks, you can of course register the domain yourself.
